Multifamily – Energy Upgrade California Incentives
The Energy Upgrade California Multifamily Program, offered by The Energy Network, provides two ways to help you upgrade your property:
- Free Technical Assistance – An energy and green building consultant will work with you to identify cost-effective upgrade measures for your project and connect you to applicable incentive programs, taking time-consuming tasks off your plate.
- Incentives – Two types of incentives are offered for two distinct project phases: Assessment and Improvement. Assessment incentives help offset the cost of an energy audit. Improvement incentives help offset the cost of purchasing and installing energy conservation measures, such as upgrades to lighting, water heating, and HVAC systems.
The Multifamily Program makes it easy to participate during the most convenient time in your property’s lifecycle. Opportunities for improvements can range from system replacements to a full rehabilitation. The program is based on analyzing how your property as a whole uses energy, and completing integrated upgrades rather than individual measures.
